Write to the editors
Use the form on this page to send us a change we have missed, a correction, or a better source. Replies, if any are needed, go to the email address you give.
When to write to us
- You have seen an official notice, a timetable change or a newspaper report about Phu Quoc that is not in our log.
- Something on one of our pages is wrong or out of date.
- You know a more direct source for a fact we quote, such as the original resolution instead of a news report.
- A link on the site no longer works.
What to send
A correction is quickest to check when it includes three things: the page and the sentence you are writing about, what you believe is correct, and a link to where it is published. An official notice or a report in a national newspaper is ideal. Screenshots help when a page changes often, as timetables do, but we will still need to read the source ourselves before we change anything.
If you are sending a new update, include the date the change was announced or takes effect, and say who it affects: everyone arriving on the island, people on one route, or visitors to one area. If you saw the change in person, for example a notice at a pier or a closed terminal, tell us where and when; we will look for the written notice behind it. Our corrections policy explains how changes are made and recorded.
What we cannot help with
We are a news log, not a booking or customer-service desk. We cannot change, cancel or refund tickets, check seat availability, or answer on behalf of an airline, a ferry operator, a hotel or a government office. For those, contact the company or office directly; the update pages name the operators and link to their own pages. We also cannot give a ruling on your personal visa situation; the immigration authority or your embassy can.
Your details
The form asks for your name and email so that we can reply if we need to. We do not pass your details to any company, and we do not add you to a mailing list. The privacy page explains how long messages are kept.
